Introduction to Cut-Off times
The Cut-Off time describes by when a letter must be submitted for dispatching at the latest in order to be considered for the next print run respectively postal handover.
If letters are submitted before the Cut-Off time, they are printed and handed over to the post on the same business day. If letters are submitted after the Cut-Off time, they are printed and handed over to the post on the next business day.
Important: No letter printing takes place on weekends and public holidays.
For example, if you submit a letter to Germany on a Friday at 11:30am, it will be printed and handed over to Deutsche Post for delivery on the same day. However, if you send this letter at 12:15pm, the letter will not be handed over to Deutsche Post until Monday, as Monday would be the next business day.
