Preset pricing model
Each Preset action requires considerable resources, which is why additional costs are charged for each action applied to a letter.
As the costs are only charged when the letter is sent, Presets can be tested without incurring any surcharges right away.
Surcharge per action
Each Preset action results in a surcharge per letter. These surcharges are shown transparently when the Preset is created as well as when it is used. If a Preset contains several actions, the maximum surcharge amount is also displayed.
Important: When applying a Preset to a letter, only the actions that are required for the letter are applied and charged. For example, if the "Fix Restricted Areas" action is enabled in the Preset, but the letter does not have an issue with the restricted areas, this action is neither executed nor charged.
The following surcharges apply per action:
- Fix Recipient Address = 0.05
- Fix Restricted Areas = 0.05
- Fiy Paper Type = 0.05
- Fix Interactive Elements = 0.05
- Address from Metatada = 0.05
How are the surcharges charged?
The surcharge will be charged together with the respective postage costs upon sending. After sending, the Preset charges can be viewed in the document preview via the coloured box in the sidebar on the right.
What are the alternatives?
If you regularly use the same template with the same issues, Presets are the most efficient way to prepare the documents for sending. However, if the issues can be easily fixed in the document template, we recommend customising the template instead, as this will avoid any surcharges when sending.
If you are unable to customise the document template and still want to avoid surcharges, you can also fix the letters manually using the Pingen WebApp.
