PDF Contains Interactive Elements

For documents with Interactive Elements (such as form fields, markers, notes or multimedia elements), the interactive information is not in the PDF content, but only in the PDF metadata. As the PDF metadata cannot be considered when sending via Pingen, the corresponding information must be converted into the PDF content so that Pingen accepts these documents for sending.

If a document contains pages with interactive elements, it receives the status “Action required”. The interactive elements can be converted directly into PDF content manually in the Pingen WebApp or automatically via Presets.

Identify the problem

You can easily see which page contains interactive elements by opening the document in the Pingen WebApp:

For example this page contains form fields. They prevent the document from being accepted for sending by Pingen.
